![]() ![]() This new version will NOT show more then 1 network at a time in the site servey and upon refresh it will show some times the same single network 5x in a row and on 6th refresh it might show a different network instead. My previous setup showed more then 15 wireless networks around my AP. Each time I refresh the site servey it shows a different network. Second problem is when attempting to select a wireless network to connect to VIA "Site Servey" I am only seeing one network at a time. I have instead selected "Client" mode which allows me to link to the neighbors router but internet is only accessible from wires LAN ports as no virtual wireless networks can be added in this mode which presents my first problem. First there is no longer a setting for "Client Bridge" as there was in my previous version of DD-WRT. I have been attempting to duplicate this set up with my new hardware with no avail. The flash and general operation of the router is successful, however my network setup was previously a "client Bridge" connecting to my neighbors router VIA wireless and using that connection as my WAN access and broadcasting my own Virtual wireless network. Wireless Repeater Bridge: Main Routers signal is received but weak so use this set to repeat signal and access internet. I have updated this new router with the most recent ddwrt release compatible with this device which is V24-PRE SP2 build 14896 This router was successfully flashed with dd-wrt v24-sp2 firmware - (dd-wrt firmware is 3rd party, not Linksys original stock firmware) - (dd-wrt firmware has added features, e.g. The hardware in question is the Airlink 101 AR670W. My Asus router which was running ddwrt died recently forcing me to purchase a new supported router. I am some what new to this scene, I have been running dd-wrt for a few years now.
